KCS has achieved the top composite score of 5 in TVAAS in the areas of system-wide literacy, system-wide numeracy, system-wide literacy and numeracy, and the overall system-wide composite score.
This is in support of the Montgomery Family who lost their son, Micha, and in support of the TN High community.

KCS is offering COVID-19 vaccination opportunities for KCS students aged 12+ and employees in conjunction with the Sullivan County Regional Health Department.

With some exceptions, the Board will hold regular monthly board meetings on the second Tuesday at 6 p.m. and work sessions on the fourth Tuesday at 6 p.m.
KCS will recognize and induct the sixth and seventh classes of the KCS Hall of Fame during the back to school educator Convocation event on Monday, July 26, 2021.
The next meeting of the Board will be its regularly scheduled business meeting on Tuesday, July 13, 2021.
No-cost meals will be served Monday – Thursday to all children 18 years of age or younger from May 31 – July 16, 2021 (excluding May 31 and July 5; double-meals provided on Thursdays).
