Kingsport City Schools Announces 2024 Summer Meals for Kids Program No-cost meals will be served Monday – Friday to all children age 18 and under from June 3 – June 28, 2024. No meals will be served on weekends.
Kingsport City Schools Lowers Tuition Rates for the 2024-2025 School Year Non-Kingsport residents in Tennessee will now pay a tuition rate of $1,000 per student/per year. City of Kingsport and Kingsport City Schools employees will now pay a tuition rate of $500 per student/per year.

RNR Orchestra Instrument Placement Day The RNR Orchestra Instrument Placement Day will be on Saturday, March 2, from 9am-12noon at the Dobyns-Bennett High School Instrumental Music Building. Orchestra instruments include violin, viola, cello, and bass.

Kingsport City Schools Announces 2024 Principal, Supervisor, and Teachers of the Year Dr. Kelley Harrell was named KCS Principal of the Year and Andy Arnold was named KCS Supervisor of the Year. District-level Teachers of the Year include Catherine Hincke, Lynna Bingham, and Bryan Kerns.
