KINGSPORT, Tenn. - Kingsport City Schools reminds the Kingsport community of the available anonymous online reporting tool P3 Campus, which was first implemented in 2019 as a way to improve safety and welfare of KCS students.
Labeled as "Anonymous Reporting" on KCS websites and KCS school posters, individuals are encouraged to anonymously submit reports and other feedback to authorized KCS school administrators and school resource officers (SROs). This tool provides an anonymous outlet for students, families, employees, and the Kingsport community to anonymously communicate with authorized adults in regard to issues of concern. Such communication is intended to foster healthy partnerships and create the best possible environment for students and employees.
Reports are monitored 24/7 to ensure that time-sensitive matters are dealt with promptly. If using the mobile app, reporters are notified when action has been taken on their report. Reporters can attach photos, screenshots, videos, documents or audio recording to their reports, and they can engage in anonymous two-way dialogue with a real person; both of these features greatly facilitate swift interventions.
P3 Campus, created by Texas-based company Anderson Software, provides a seamless and efficient way to offer information to help prevent tragedy and bring mental health needs to light. Anderson Software leads the industry with its secure and anonymous tip acquisition and management solution, called P3 Intel. This technology is the foundation of P3 Campus, a comprehensive reporting solution designed specifically for the needs, behaviors, and attitudes of students. This partnership allows Kingsport City Schools to foster a relationship between schools, law enforcement, mental health professionals, parents, and students themselves.
