KINGSPORT, Tenn. – The Kingsport City Schools Technology Department has been working hard to provide additional technology services to help our students throughout this challenging time of the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

One such service is the new KCS WiFi Hotspot network at each of our schools. Over the last few weeks, we have installed external WiFi hotspots on each of our schools to provide WiFi connectivity in the parking lots.

 

Students can now come to any school parking lot and connect with their KCS Chromebook to the Internet. Take note, ONLY KCS Chromebooks will be able to connect to the Internet. This sign designates the area where the hotspot is available at each school.
